It’s actually been a pretty good year for many dogs. People who already had one or more dogs as part of the family have been home more, and those who didn’t have dogs felt it was a good time to add one to the household, putting us in high demand and cleaning out rescues. Good times for canines, right? Well, not entirely…
We dogs are empathetic beings, picking up on what’s happening around us, how others are feeling, and we’ve not been oblivious to the hardships the pandemic has caused our humans and those they’re connected to. 2020 was a difficult year.
So, from all of us here at the Fur-iday Files…
Happy New Year to you and yours and here’s to a better, brighter 2021!
P.S. But still adopt dogs. We’re okay if you have to go back to the office when the pandemic is over.
Lovin the chapeau Little Man. And such great posing for the camera..how to be a good sport. Very fitting sentiment for this day. Happy New Year my friend 🐾❤️

I’m not crazy about clothing of any kind, but pretty dapper, right? As for posing, I’m not really a fan of having a camera in my face so, just between you and me, they were holding food. ;o)
